How does it work

Simply put, it's like turning your smartphone into a smart card. Instead of storing passwords and shared secrets in the enterprise, HYPR replaces the use of passwords and shared secrets with Public Key Cryptography and open standards

like FID02. HYPR eliminates passwords through the use of Public Key Encryption (PKE), drastically reducing the attack vector. It uses a pair of cryptographic keys: a private key kept secret at the hardware level on the user's device and a public key stored in the passwordless cloud.
